Mr. Shalom Simhon served as Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor since January 2011 until March 2013. Prior to his position he also served as Minister of Agriculture (2006-2011) and Minister of Environmental Protection in 2005. Mr. Simhon was first elected to the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, in 1996 and was a Knesset Member until March 2013. As a MK he chaired the Agriculture Committee and the Finance Committee and was a member of various Committees including the Economic Affairs Committee and the Water Committee. Mr. Simhon resides in Moshav (cooperative farm village) Even Menahem in the north of Israel. Since the mid-1980s, he has been an active official in Tnuat-Hamoshavim (The Moshavim Movement comprised of 450 member villages). In that capacity, he has held various key positions: Secretary-General of the Moshavim Movement (1993-2001); Chairman, Moshavim Pension Fund (1993 – 2001); Secretary-General of the Agricultural Center – an umbrella association of various farmers’ organizations in Israel (1997-2001); Chairman, Administrative Council of Tnuva, Israel’s largest marketing and distributing cooperative for agricultural products (1993- 1996); and a member of the Board of Directors of Israel Lands Administration (1993 – 1996) Mr. Simhon was born in 1956 in Kfar Saba, Israel. He served in the Israel Defense Forces. He is married and has two children.

Mrs. Liu has worked with many famous international fashion brands like Coach, Abercombie and Fitch, U.S. Polo, Natori, etc. Mrs. Liu is also a real estate investor, successfully predicting trends in the real estate market both in China and the U.S. Mrs. Liu has always been an avid supporter of the Chinese workers and Chinese economy and her love and concern to China and its people had brought her to invest in and promote ITiC, understanding the benefits of Israeli technology to China’s agriculture, industry and quality of living. She resides in Shanghai and New York and is married.

David Yarden has extensive experience in starting, running and managing new businesses; He started a Prep School for SAT, GMAT, GRE and TOEFL in Singapore, helping bringing it to a 50% market share within 2 years. He was the CEO of a real estate brokerage firm in New York with 40 agents, three offices and $250 million in annual sales. He managed large clients’ accounts in a well-known art gallery in New York achieving record sales. He grew up in Moshav (cooperative farm village) Beerotaim in Israel, working in all walks of agriculture; from dairy and vegetables to flowers and grain, but the main family business has always been poultry. Min Hateva is the family business, working with over 400 stores nation-wide, reaching a 9% market share. Mr. Yarden has experience in working with the livestock, distribution chain, business development and more. Mr. Yarden had served in the Israeli Air-Force as a Captain. He is married.

In 1997, he initiated the pilot plant for precursor spinning and preliminary spinning trials. In 1998, he headed the R&D activity for optimization of precursor at pilot plant. Production of ton amount for oxidation and carbonization tests. In 2008, he was responsible for precursor production at semi-industrial scale (80 ton/y). In 2008, he has conducted Oxidation and carbonization tests using semi-industrial precursor on different carbonization lines. In 2009, Mr. F. managed the preparation of Basic Engineering and Technology Transfer for a new Carbon fiber production plant. In 2011, he had participated in the design and construction of a New Carbon fiber production plant: Know-how package and design for precursor production. Later he worked in several Carbon fiber production plants: technologies comparison (DMAC, DMSO), and started a production of a complete Carbon Fiber Production Plant. In 2013, he conducted new Carbon fiber pilot, Basic Engineering and Technology transfer. In 2014, he established new Precursor Pilot plant. Basic Engineering and process specifications. In 2014, he filed for International Patent for alternative precursor production, that was granted a year after. In 2015, he conducted feasibility Study for a new large capacity Industrial plant for Carbon Fiber. In 2016, he filed a new patent for precursor production.  Experimental trials about the new technology. In 2016, he conducted a feasibility Study for a new industrial plant for precursor production: comparison of wet spinning and air-gap spinning technologies. In 2016, he prepared pre-Engineering document for modification of an existing precursor production plant using the new, patent technology.

This expert studied preliminary studies on acrylic polymer formulations suitable for carbon fiber precursor. After the graduation he served as project leader in R&D department for production and evaluation of laboratory scale polymers and spinning of bench scale precursor fibers- studies of oxidation and carbonization process. In 1992, he specialized in the thermoanalitical methods applied on polymers (carbon fiber acrylic precursor oxidation process). In 1993, he begun first trials and evaluations of CF precursor in pilot plant test. Later he specialized in Chemical and Physical characterization of the precursor fibers and complete laboratory tests. In 1995, he conducted an evaluation of pilot plant precursors c/o partner industrial plant for oxidation and carbonization trials. In 1997, he served as quality control chief for industrial acrylic fibers and semi-industrial Carbon fiber precursor. In 2012, he participating in a engineering team for the transfer of CF Technology. In 2014, he had several studies and comparison of CF and CF precursors for physical and chemical characteristics obtained from different technologies. In 2015 he filled for national and international patents for new spinning technology of acrylic carbon fiber precursors.

Civil Engineer: In 2002, this expert served as Freelance Engineer Engineering of seismic-resistant building and hydraulic networks.

In 2006, he served as Project Engineer - Site Engineering for civil works and buildings on a Hydrocracker project. In 2008, he served as Project Engineer and Site Engineering for buildings/civil works in the Persian Gulf. In 2008, he served as Project Engineer on a Development Project, and development of a Fabrication Yard – for civil Works and buildings in Arica. In 2010, he served as a duty Project Manager on a conversion project and as Pre-commissioning Manager for the loading arms on a Project in the Persian Gulf. In 2010, he served as Business Development Manager and Bid Coordinator for a conversion project in the Persian Gulf. From 2011 to date, he serves as Business Development Manager and Project Manager for the engineering, construction, commissioning and start-up of complete Carbon Fibre Plants.

Carbon Fiber Process Plant Operations and Process Control:  From 2003-2006, This expert served as Deputy Team leader. He worked on various production lines in the production of carbon fiber.  His main duties were establishing lines, shutting lines down and resolving of fiber issues.

Later he served as Production Operator, while he was responsible on the production of Oxidized and carbon fiber. Experience of working on 8 different production lines. Main duties include preparation of precursor, resolving fiber problems during the process and the collection and testing of finished goods.

From 2011 until present, he serves as a Team Leader. He is leading a team of up to 9 operators to run 2 oxidized lines and 2 carbon fiber lines. Responsible for overall running of the production lines as well as recording feedstock and finished goods. Other responsibilities include Health and Safety, process control, product control and abatement of fugitive emissions.

Expert of Oxidised & Carbon Fibre manufacturing, production line commissioning and production operations: His current role involves the training of all personnel involved in Carbon Fibre manufacturing from giving advice on equipment specification and capabilities, technical information on process parameters, setting up lines to achieve best possible fibre properties and training managers, team leaders & operators to run CF lines with maximum efficiencies and yields. He has experience in the manufacturing of oxidised and carbon fibre from 6k up to 400k. From 1993 until 2008, he served as Production Operator, Team Leader, Supervisor and Trainer of two new production lines each producing 1500tpa. From 2008 until 2009, he served as Superintendent (Training & Development). The role involved the training and development requirements for all production employees, approximately 100 in total.

In 2010, he was seconded to a company in "Undisclosed Country" to help the company produce Carbon Fibre.  In 2010, he served as a Carbon Fibre Training & Development Manager. From 2011 –2013, he served as a Carbonisation Operations Specialist.  From 2013 –2015, he served as Carbonisation Manager and was employed to implement a 3000ton Carbon Fibre project.  From 2015 – Present, he serves as the Director of a company, which specialises on advising of the design, project management, assistance during the vendor selection, installation supervision, commissioning, training of the personnel, start-up and fine tuning of the carbonisation line in order to reach a production with stable characteristics of the final product.
